King George Square Cycle Centre, Brisbane CBD - QLD

Client: INB Hub Alliance (Leightons/Bligh Voller Neild)
A world-class commuter cycling facility opened on June 10, 2008. The centre provides approximately 420 cyclists with facilities including secure parking, showers, lockers, plus a laundry and ironing service.
Design development completed with extensive redesign of the upper level. Cadway assisted in developing the project architectural documentation. Cadway staff worked under the instructions of the clients design personnel including attendance at project coordination meetings and communicated with all other consultants as necessary.
Cadway Project Involvement:
- Detailed contract documentation of building fitout.
- External dismounting Area to be included in Cadway documentation scope
- Design documentation drawings and client signoff using REVIT
- Assistance with coordination of other design consultants’ and services
- Joinery details
- Attendance at weekly (or as required) project meetings (Brisbane CBD)
- Electronic issue of construction drawings (DWF files)
